It has been suggested to me that this blog could do with a glossary (why is there no mattary, for those who prefer something less shiny?) to help readers to understand some of the more esoteric language used by the author. Never let it be said that this blog does not respond to feedback (if news reaches me that this is being said, there will be trouble!), so here goes :
